November 6-11, 2019
Welcome to paradise in the Riviera Maya
Tulum can be found 80 minutes south of Cancun in between pristine beaches and lush jungle. Join us for a relaxing and rejuvenating 6 days and 5 nights at Amansala Eco Resort. www.amansalaresort.com
Shoes are optional!
Bienvenidos a Mexico! You’ll arrive at the Cancun Airport where a shuttle service will be there ready to take you to Tulum. Lora and Austin will be at Amansala to greet you and get you settled into your rooms. We’ll then, all meet for a welcome circle and delicious dinner. After dinner, wind down with a Yoga Nidra practice.
Rise and Shine! The sunrise in Tulum in are not to be missed (unless you’re not a morning person). Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and fruit as the sunrises. We’ll begin with a morning meditation and a vinyasa yoga practice. After yoga, we brunch! Then, you’re free to relax on the beach, take a walk, explore Tulum on a beach cruiser, or enjoy a spa treatment. We’ll then, meet for an evening Yin Yoga practice and a delicious dinner full of fresh and local ingredients.
Rinse and repeat from Day 2, however, we’ll add an excursion after breakfast/brunch.
Have you seen the sunrise yet? If not, set your alarm or let us know and we’ll come get you. We promise, it’s worth it! Once again, we’ll have a morning practice and meditation followed by a bigger than you can believe buffet styled breakfast/brunch. We’ll then, have a free day to chill or explore, your choice! In the late afternoon, the chefs will share some of their incredible recipes for you to make at home (yes, you’ll eventually have to leave paradise). After sunset, we’ll practice yoga and then, head out for dinner (not included) in Tulum. There are an endless number of wonderful restaurants in the area to explore local cuisine.
Okay, really, you must wake up for the sunrise at least one day! You’ve probably have the schedule down by now: sunrise, coffee or tea; yoga; brunch; free time, do you need to get gifts for loved ones or time to book a massage, have you heard about another cool place to explore in the area? You’ll know what you need to do… Then, again, yoga after sunset and our last group dinner together followed by our closing circle.
Depending on your flight home, we have offer an early morning yoga practice to set you right for your reentry to the “real world”. We’ll enjoy breakfast and then, relax until the shuttle arrives to take you back to the Cancun Airport. Other than, your sun kissed skin, we promise you will not return the same person as when you arrived.
